Chris Skaggs / CCO & CTO
Chris Skaggs is the Founder, CCO/CTO of Soma Games and Code-Monkeys. Based in Newberg, OR. Skaggs is a 16-year veteran in the creation of B2B and B2C technology solutions including five years in the mobile technology space. Chris has had a long career building a variety of custom apps for iOS, Android, BlackBerry, Kindle Fire and Intel AppUp, Xbox, PS4 and Amazon Alexa, as well as the web-based backend software for a wide range of web and mobile apps. Chris has been an active participant in the Intel AppUp developer program and inspirational thought leader at industry events and online blogs. He has appeared as a technology consultant with Intel, Mobile Portland, The Software Association of Oregon plus several universities and business organizations. On the side Chris is a Speaker with Boot Camp Northwest, and enjoys martial arts.
Rande Bruhn / President & CEO
Rande Bruhn is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (Oregon) and holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (with academic honors, from an affiliate of Notre Dame University), in addition to a Bachelors degree in Finance and Economics. Rande has spent the last 25 years of his career primarily focused on business management in the technology arena with diverse companies in both commercial and military venues, in Aerospace, Software, Integrated Circuit design and manufacturing fields. In 2009, he joined Code-Monkeys as President and CEO.
Trent Funk / Director of Business Development
Trent Funk is a servant leader, who as Director of Business Development, partners with CEOs, executives, and entrepreneurs to solve problems with the right software. He brings a diverse background of experience from leading business development for Xerox as the VP of Government Customer Care, to guiding Saddleback Leather as Chief Operating Officer, to consulting start-ups on maximizing their impact in the market. At home, Trent and family live in the heart of bluegrass and bourbon country. Trent was a collegiate runner and loves all things athletic. He is also a veteran of the United States Army serving in both Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Trent is passionate about growth, and has spent the past 20 years helping businesses and people in their pursuit of excellence in the business arena and in their communities.
John L. Bergquist / Director of Communications
John joined Code-Monkeys as a communications consultant in 2008 and helped build the company into the mobile industry leader it is today. He joined the company as the Communications Director full time in early 2011. While John mainly handles the companies communications and company culture he also is part of the creative team in many aspects of both technology and game development. John also is considered a mobile consumer technology evangelist speaking at events and writing on consumer mobile technology as a Huffington Tech Blogger. John also writes about technology and how it enhances human communication and connectedness on his personal blog.
